The Persephone Bouquet is named after the Grecian Goddess who was gathering flowers in a field when she was whisked away by Hades to become his wife and rule the underworld and the dead.  She eventually split her time between the earth and the world beneath it,  making her existence a symbolic meaning of the power that shoots forth and withdraws into the earth, giving both spring and winter.  Married in this bouquet are the blush and cream tones of Spring and the upper world with the moody colors of Winter and the lower world.
